Welcome to my A.'. A.'. web page. My name is Ryan William Higgins, I have been raised in a Roman Catholic family and have spent a great part of my life studying philosophy and world religions. After many intuitive doubts, unanswered questions, and a natural joy for taboo, I decided that traditional religion, science, and philosophy suffer a great deal of confusion partly due to the un questioned use of digital thinking and un-challenged postulates. After encountering thinkers such as Hume, Lau Tzu, Nietzsche, Patanjali, Herman Hesse, and Aleister Crowley I decided that the A.'. A.'. offered a system of mystical attainment that fit my scientific attitude while satisfying my love for experimentation, the exploration of consciousness, and individual creativity. From this turning point onward I have been working under the supervision of Frater 493 since the winter of 2003. I am but a student on the path and my experience is limited to that of a Neophyte; however, it is my sincere hope to share what little knowledge I may or may not have acquired through my essays, notes and philosophical reflections regarding my A.'. A.'. work and my life experiences in the body of Nuit. If all goes well these works will inspire new questions, instigate critical thinking, and trigger new concepts.
This particular lineage is currently in its five year period of silence since 2004 e.v. and will be commencing its five year period of speech in the year 2009 e.v. Any individuals that are interested in working in the outer college may participate in work groups or the gnostic mass as operated by the Gnostic Church of the L.V.X. acting as an outer body of the A.'. A.'. This would allow one to begin a preliminary study of the Thelemic formulas, expressed in its magickal and mystical practices. During this time it is highly recommended that one acquaint oneself as much as possible with the various methods of mystical attainment, philosophy, and magick in order to be optimally prepared for the period of speech.
